What I think would have happened is Ash won the Kalos league (cause GODAMIT ASH):
Charizard is unable to battle, which means the winner, and new champion of the Kalos region, is Ash Ketchum!!!!
It is visible on Ash’s face when his face goes from frustrated, into joy and happiness.
Ash: I-I-I won. I won!!!!
Ash begins jumping up and down, putting his fist in the air in joy. In the stadiums:
Serena: Ash...Ash won.
Small tears are visible on the sides of Serena's face.
Clemont/Bonnie: Ash did it! He won!! (Yelling down to Ash) Great job Ash!! You did it!!!
Serena starts to cry, which clemont and Bonnie notice.
Clemont: S-serena? Are you okay?
Serena: He won. He actually won! I can't believe it! (Yelling down) Ash!! You did it!!!! You actually won!!!!!
Ash: Yeah, I guess I did!!
Clemont, Bonnie and Serena all climb down from the stadium to greet Ash.
Ash: I did it guys! I won!
Ash does not realize that Serena is running towards him,but..
Ash: Wait Serena, are you?..
Serena tackles Ash, giving him a big hug, while tears are slowly falling down her cheeks.
Serena: I-I-I just can't believe you did it Ash...You're so amazing!!!
Ash smiles, knowing how much all three of his friends helped him along the way.
Ash: Serena...thank you. I couldn't have done any of this without you guys!!!
A little bit later, Ash is in a winner’s balcony if sorts.
Announcer( or whoever would give him the trophy): Ash Ketchum, I am proud to present you with the Kalos League Trophy, as proof that you are the new champion of Kalos!
Ash: Thank you so much!!
Ash is waving to everyone in the stadium, with a joy-filled face, as Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie smile at him from the sides.
Once they get out of the stadium, Serena has an idea.
Serena: Hey guys, how about we have a party?! To celebrate Ash's victory in the league?
Ash: That sounds like a great idea! Lets do it!
Everybody: Yeah!!!!!!
Later that night, at the party, Ash finds Serena sitting by herself on a balcony, looking at the moon, smiling. He smiles, and goes back to enjoy that party. However, he realizes how much she has helped, and that he should rally thank her.
Serena: It's just so amazing what you can accomplish if you try….(happy sigh)...
Ash: Serena?
Serena: Huh?! What?!?
Serena is surprised by Ash and almost falls off her seat.
Ash: Woah are you okay?
Serena:Yeah, I'm fine, you just startled me hehe...what's up?
Ash: I want to talk to you about something...do you mind if I sit here?
Serena: N-no..
Ash: Good (smiling at Serena)
Serena (thinking): Whats happening? (Blushing) what is he going to do? Is this what I think it is?
Serena: S-so, w-whats up?
Ash: Serena, Im really glad that I won the Kalos League, and I just wanted to….to say thank you.
Ash hugs Serena, and says: Thank you so much for everything, I wouldn't have gotten anywhere without you….
Serena (with small tears, mad red blushing, and a face of love and joy), hugs him back, enjoying this moment as long as she can.
Serena: Oh Ash, you don't have to thank me for anything, because I was glad to do it,and I wouldnt have had it any other way..
Ash: Really?
Serena: Honest, that's the truth! You're the the reason that I even started my journey...You have been such an inspiration to me, and I never want to be without you again…
Ash: R-really? I haven't done anything special, I'm just me…
Serena (shaking her head): But that's the thing! The Ash I know is tough caring, and overall the sweetest guy I've met. You've done everything you could, and I'm so grateful…
Ash: I'm glad (smiling)..
Serena hugs Ash again, and they both get up, and go back to enjoy the party, and even through everything that happened, he still wants to have a battle with someone? Oh Ash, never change...The party is wonderful, with beautiful performances by Serena and Shauna, and great food. Everything is perfect, and Ash deserves it all, for after all he won, and did his very best to win.
But of course this didn't happen cause GODAMNIT ASH EVERY TIME. Anyways,I hope you enjoyed reading this!
